Our First Cruise
In early July, Judy and I went on our first cruise on the
Carnival Liberty. From Fort Lauderdale, we went to Grand Bahama island,
then to Grand Cayman island where we swam with stingrays, and finally on to the
Mayan peninsula of Mexico where we visited centuries old ruins. As we visited
these places, I was on the lookout for Ham radio antennas but spied only one, on
Grand Cayman Island. during the entire trip. There was some real
excitement on our first night on the cruise when a passenger went overboard. The
ship quickly came around and the US Coast Guard was quickly on the scene to pull
the man out of the water.
2007 Hall of Fame Grand Parade
Once again, I had the convertible in the Pro Football Hall of
Fame Grand Parade on August 3rd. This year the passenger was not quite as
glamorous as last year's, it was FeLeap, the Stark County (OH) Park Mascot.
